What is Ar nDraiocht Fein?
ADF is the abbreviation of Ar nDraiocht Fein. This means "Our own Druidism" and/or "A Druid Fellowship". It is a modern Neo-Pagan tradition that is attempting to revitalize the beliefs and practices of our ancient ancestors through study and dedication. It is an international organization that has been in existence for about 24 years
Although, when many people hear or read the term Druid they may very well think of Celtic Stories. This is not incorrect; however, ADF is much more than just focus on the ancient culture of the Celts. ADF focuses on all of the Indo-European peoples of past times.
ADF is Polytheistic in its belief structure of the Gods and Goddesses. Although each of the Divine beings may be similar in traits, they are separate entities. Within ADF structure we also honor our Ancestors, and the Spirits of the land; both local and those of the Hearth culture we belong to.
